City Centre Bahrain awards school children for creativity as part of ‘Fall for Fashion’

Artwork competition encourages students to 'think out of the box'

 

Fall for Fashion’ at City Centre Bahrain , the style festival which runs until October 20th, invited local primary school students to take part in an artistic challenge – Think Out of the Box competition saw entrants of recycled mutli-coloured, decorated shoe boxes, in a bid to win  ‘Most Creative’, ‘Best Made’ and ‘Most Popular’ art piece.

25 students from Bahrain Bayan School, grades seven and eight, entered their designs, which were judged and awarded on Wednesday 7th October. The best three pieces were awarded with prizes in the form of Gift Cards to spend in City Centre Bahrain - and everyone went home happy, as all students got a ‘well done’ BD5 Gift Card for taking part. All entries into ‘The Most Creative Shoe Box’ competition will be displayed until October 20th in the Think Out of the Box station located in front of Saks Fifth Avenue, for family and friends to admire.

Other highlights of ‘Fall for Fashion’ are the “Kick up Your Heels’ 3km walkathon on Saturday October 13th, in support of Think Pink Bahrain for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as well as the on-going ‘Do You Love Your Shoes/Bag?’ social media style competition – where fans can upload pictures of themselves with their favourite accessories to be in with a chance of being crowned style queen of the week.
