City Centre Bahrain, the premier shopping, entertainment and lifestyle destination in the Kingdom of Bahrain is once again spreading the message of generosity and compassion this Ramadan during the 13th edition of the ‘Make a Difference, Together’ initiative. City Centre Bahrain and its adjoining hotels, The Westin and Le Méridien City Centre Bahrain staff members led by example and donated to underprivileged families in Bahrain, on 20 May 2019.

As part of Majid Al Futtaim’s 13th annual ‘Make A Difference, Together’ campaign City Centre Bahrain’s staff members including mall management and the mall’s adjoining hotels, The Westin and Le Méridien City Centre Bahrain’s staff members, donated items including clothes, books, toys and non-perishable food items at the special donation station. All donated goods will be distributed through the distribution channels of the Islamic Association in Bahrain, which will help some of the less fortunate families in the Kingdom, in line with the spirit of the Holy month of Ramadan.

‘Make A Difference Together’ is Majid Al Futtaim’s annual initiative that spreads the message of kindness and empathy. It encourages parents to instil the value of giving rather than receiving and undertake kind acts that will make a positive difference in the lives of less fortunate families, while creating a new ritual of donation together, as a family. It also gives visitors the opportunity to show compassion by coming together and bringing smiles to the faces of those in need.

Continuing into Eid, Majid Al Futtaim has put in place special donation boxes in its shopping malls across Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Oman and the UAE, encouraging parents and children to donate essential items.
