City Centre Bahrain, Majid Al Futtaim’s leading lifestyle and landmark destination in the Kingdom, is creating great moments for its guests during the month of December, unveiling its exclusive new ‘Winter Tales’ immersive experience.  For the first time, City Centre Bahrain is bringing the enchanting world of The Nutcracker to its loyal shoppers, rewarding them with a truly memorable way to celebrate the holiday season.   Featuring a never-seen before charming display that re-creates the sights and sounds of the timeless fairy-tale classic, City Centre Bahrain’s Winter Tales campaign celebrates the story of a little girl named Clara who creates a friendship with a toy doll that magically turns into a young boy after a duel with a mouse king.

Until December 31st, visitors to City Centre Bahrain can experience one-of-a-kind, interactive shows that will delight even the youngest family members. Marked by the chiming of the stately clock, ‘The Nutcracker’ will draw guests into a magical world through an audio book recounting the timeless tale, followed by a picture perfect journey through the Winter Forest to reach the Land of Sweets. Massive Nutcracker installations will welcome guests to City Centre Bahrain and continue the magic of the winter season throughout the month.

Guests will be enchanted by a string of near-daily performances including The Little Ballerinas featuring local arts and dance schools performing their own versions of The Nutcracker; The Snowflake Dance featuring the acrobatic skills of a professional gymnast and the Singing Soldier, featuring the multi-talented Jason Chasland who will perform his comedic one-man show from December 22nd-26th. For the little ones, City Centre Bahrain will be hosting free ‘Gymnastics for Beginners’ workshops from December 4th-6th and 11th-13th for children 5-12 years as well as The Nutcracker-themed arts and crafts.

Shoppers whose festive purchases exceed BD 40 are entered into a draw to win a magical shopping experience worth BD 20,000. Those who spend BD 50 can re-create the fairy tale at home with a limited edition The Nutcracker figurine for keeps. Guests can also have their items gift-wrapped during the “Winter Tales” experience.
