More than 1,200 women test their cardiovascular health at City Centre Bahrain

 

City Centre Bahrain—the largest shopping, leisure and entertainment destination in Bahrain— tested 1,271 women, as part of Majid Al Futtaim’s heart health campaign ‘Feel the Beat’ which aims to raise awareness on cardiovascular disease for prevention and early detection.

In association with Mohammed Bin Khalifa Bin Sulman Al Khalifa Cardiac Centre, doctors and nurses were on site to administer complimentary heart health tests which included blood pressure, blood sugar, body mass index (BMI) and overall health check-ups to determine if any risk for heart disease.  

Visitors can follow the campaign, learn about cardiovascular disease and pledge to do more for their hearts by visiting the mall’s website and on social media by using the #signwithyourheart and #FeeltheBeat hashtags.
