An immersive football experience for mall visitors throughout the month of Jun.

As football fans gear up to the much-anticipated FIFA World Cup, one of the most capturing sports events globally, City Centre Bahrain is ready to kick off the season with mall entertainment and activities that will keep mall visitors on top of the City Centre Bahrain will be the place to be, to enjoy the month of World Cup games, the epicenter where football and fashion come together. Football jerseys of favorite teams and participating country flags will decorate the football themed mall display, along with an elegantly ornamented, glittering 3D ‘C’ in a football themed design.

Shoppers will have the chance to win prizes throughout the festive month. Upon spending BD35, shoppers can register their receipts with the customer service desk for a chance to win the Grand Prize, one of two Subaru BRZs, displayed at the central galleria. The fun doesn’t stop here; shoppers who will spend a minimum of BD50 will receive an instant gift with purchase from the customer service desk. ‘City Centre Bahrain’s Referee’, is an interestingly amusing addition. He will be flashing football cards and challenging random customers with some fun football trivia to win instant prizes.

The mall will screen updated match scores and schedules at the World Cup display at the Central galleria. Head straight to the display if you want to enter the e-football challenge and win prizes! In addition, a glittery football-finish 3D ‘C’ will be displayed for mall visitors to scan with their smartphones and see the ‘C’ come to life through Augmented Reality (AR). The interactive ‘C’ will also give customers a chance to win BD50 GiftCards.

To win a BD50 Gift Card or a complementary City Cart service, mall visitors can walk over to the Facebook photo booth located at the World Cup display at the central galleria, pick their favourite team/stadium photo booth and get their picture taken. The picture will be uploaded on the ‘City Stadium App’ on Facebook for participants to share with their friends asking them to ‘Like’ it. Three photos with the highest number of ‘Likes’ will win! Mall visitors can also participate in the Instagram ‘Selfie in the City’ Contest. Participants must fit as many people as possible in one selfie photo taken at City Centre Bahrain. Be creative and post the photo on Instagram while mentioning @CityCentreBahrain and hashtag #CitySelfieBH. Lage group selfies will enter a draw, where 3 will win BD50 in Gift Cards each, plus a complimentary City Cart service.

Great moments are there for everyone. Female customers can enjoy a complimentary football themed make-up and nail art service at the Make-up studio on the weekends. Latest sports merchandise will be featured by leading sports retailers. Last but not least, City Centre Bahrain brings you the most famous spectacle of authentic Brazilian folklore! Come and enjoy this exclusive group parading at the mall on June 19th- 20th; there are three shows per day at 5pm, 7pm and 9pm.
